Best options for long-term parking

  • Cheapest official option: West Economy Park & Walk at $10 a day, when it's open (it's seasonal). It suits light packers who don't mind a 15-minute walk.
  • Best value with a ride: the East Economy surface lot at $16 a day, or the covered East Economy garages at $19. The free Sky Train takes you to both terminals.
  • Shade in summer: pay the extra few dollars for a garage. A car left in an uncovered Phoenix lot in July gets very hot.
  • Short trip, lots of luggage: the terminal garages at $33 a day save time.

Off-airport parking near PHX

Private lots near the airport run free shuttles and can cost less than the official garages, especially with an online promo.

  • The Parking Spot has three PHX locations (3750 E Washington St, 4040 E Van Buren St and 3025 S 48th St) with 24/7 shuttles. Its posted rates in 2026 were about $12 to $16 a day depending on promo and covered or uncovered.
  • Reservation sites list several other lots and hotel park-and-fly deals near Sky Harbor, some under $10 a day. Check recent reviews and the shuttle frequency before you book.

Free and cheap ways to skip parking

  • Valley Metro light rail stops at 44th St/Washington, where the free Sky Train connects to both terminals.
  • Cell phone lots are free and open 24 hours (East, West and at the 44th Street Sky Train station). Drivers must stay with the car, for up to 30 minutes.
  • Rideshare pickups are on the outer curbs in both terminals and at the 24th and 44th Street Sky Train stations, which can be quicker at busy times.
